Rick Harrison's late son Adam Harrison will not come up on the upcoming season of Pawn Stars, PEOPLE can confirm.
Adam, who wasn't a cast member of the popular History channel show, died at age 39 on Jan. 19 due to a fentanyl overdose.
Pawn Stars — also starring Rick's other son, Corey Harrison, as well as Austin "Chumlee" Russell — began filming season 23 earlier this month.
TMZ was first to report the news.
Laura Herlovich, a representative for Rick, confirmed Adam's death to theLas Vegas Review-Journal last month.
"Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss," she shared with the publication on behalf of the Harrison family.
Rick, 58, then posted a touching tribute to his son on Instagram days later.
"You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔,” he wrote alongside aphotoof himself smiling with Adam at a bar.

After Corey, Adam was the second child of Rick and his ex-wife, Kim. Rick remarried his second wife, Tracy, and the couple welcomed one son, Jake.
Though Adam did not appear onPawn Starsalongside Rick and Corey, he reportedly worked at Gold & Silver Pawn before the unscripted program's 2009 premiere.
