How much does an Audible subscription cost? ›

The short answer is no; an Audible membership is not free with Amazon Prime. However, Prime members do get some special benefits. As a Prime member, you are eligible for a pair of free audiobooks when you start an Audible Premium Plus trial, even if you've been a user of the Audible free trial before.

Can I still access my Library when I cancel? You can listen to titles you bought with a credit or cash anytime. They're yours to keep and will always be available in your Library whether you're a current member or not. You can download titles you've purchased as much as you want, even if you cancel your membership.

Customers who cancel or fail to maintain their membership in good standing are not eligible to make returns. This return option doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law.

It's not possible to close your Audible account and delete your Audible data without also closing and deleting the data associated with your Amazon account. If you wish to close your Audible account only, you can cancel your membership. You can also unsubscribe from Audible communications.

You should see your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen. Open the profile menu, and select the option for payments and subscriptions. Select the subscriptions option, and find Audible on the list. Finally, cancel the subscription by clicking the button.

Note: Monthly membership has two options: 1 credit a month or 2 credits a month. Annual memberships are also available in 12 or 24 credit plans. With annual membership, you get access to all of your credits right away. Any title you get with a credit is yours to keep.
